I forgot to say that after you disconnect the water lines, remove the faucet entirely. And if you're smarter than me, drain it. Dake derived a good deal of innocent amusement from the results.

If you need to, slit the tube covering the faucet wires and remove it. It does little.

Tee-headed pins are nice to push on, but make a bigger hole in the insulation than a needle. And of course it pays to remember that if you shove the pin in *exactly* where the wire is broken, it's going to come out the other side and explore your finger. Unlikely you can prevent it but at least be prepared.

Yrs, d ps - replace those fuses and preferably all the others with the Littelfuse glass-enclosed fuses meant to replace them. A bit spendy but much more reliable contact.
