I believe the switch was stuck. I attempted to take the old on off ( I did n't have much luck) so I just plug in the old switch and the fan was off. Jeff Schwala said it was a stuck switch and I guess it was. I went out driving to get the Vanagon up to tempt, the park to see if the fan went on. Well, it did but did not turn off. I guess I need to replace the radiator switch?
