On m y 1991 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Campmobile, I have the original tank, with original regulator and original autostop fill valve. Everything is great, no problems. At a couple of fill up places, an attendant was puzzled by the fill valve, but once it was explained either by me or by another worker, everything has been ok. Well, let me correct that a little. One fellow at a local gas station/convenience store never did get it. He was a very large man who could not get down to the level of the tank to attach the filler to the valve, and it kept not fitting. Finally, he having no other worker he could turn to, and my not being allowed to handle the equipment, I just gave up and went elsewhere. mcneely
