Howdy List,
Is there a poor mans version of checking crankshaft end play? If not what
is the setup that I would need besides the dial indicator, what I mean is
there a special bracket I would need to get to hold the indicator? There
are two pages in the Bentley that show the bracket, 13.40 and 13.47 and
they both show VW387 for the bracket.
Any insight/procedures will be greatly appreciated,
