I use the color-tune to synch/adjust the burn on my big Yamaha roadbike. It's an inline 4 with 4 seperate carbs, so adjusting the mixture is important or one cylinder slacks off while another does more work. The color-tune is bloody brilliant, because you can see just how the engine is behaving at particular rpm levels etc. After I color-tuned my bike, I got another 5mpg because I adjusted the carbs to run perfectly at 4000rpm where the bike is usually running at on the hiway. LOVE my color-tune. Courtney

These little cameras work surprisingly well. The problem is getting them situated to view the valves. For tuning and finding miss-fires the colortune see through spark plug http://www.international-auto.com/index.cfm/fa/p/pid/3448/sc/35750 works really well. It is a bit pricey but actually viewing the flame is really cool!

Just ordered one of these from my friends at Banggood. I've placed 3 previous orders from them and they all arrived safely after 3 or 4 weeks. Nothing over $10 though. I have my doubts how well it would go if there was a problem with a purchase. Anyway, I've been wanting one of those inspection cameras and thinking of ways I could make my own cheaper/better version. I recently got a windows netbook, so this will hopefully combine with it to provide a handy tool for exploring the heater box or other hidden corners of the vanagon. This is advertised as being 10mm in diameter so should also fit through spark plug holes. I'll report when I get it.

Edward
