Caution! When they tell you the 3M VHB (Very High Bond) double back tape is near permanent once in place, they mean it! Luckily for me, when this lesson was driven home, the item I wanted to remove succumbed, with a lot of effort, to the fishing line trick. But that darn stuff really holds. Recommended for those things in and around the van that you really want to stay in place. Just be warned that getting the mounted items apart later is going to be a challenge. One positive point. The tape itself will come off without leaving a bunch of gummy stuff behind it like regular double back tape.
