There was a fellow in Idaho on craigslist.com making them a while ago, but I could not find him anywhere. Go to www.thesamba.com and you'll find some ideas there for making your own.

I had one on my '68 Westy, and it was great! Don't need one anymore, except maybe for storage while camping.

So, they used to make a child hammock for the earlier VW buses, but it's too high up to be used as a cot for a child on the T3s. To those of you who have camped with small children, i.e., toddler or younger, what do you do to provide a safe and comfortable sleeping place for your young'un?

My new son will be 8 months old when the first music festival comes around next year . . .
