Thank you for the suggestion. Along with checking circuits of my new switch before install, I have repeatedly checked and tested all my fuses and fuse panel connections. First check I did, in fact. And 3rd, 5th...

My current guesses are: Hidden wiring harness or harness connectors Bad fuse block/rail Steering column left stalk high beam switch (oh, please, no... Not removing the steering wheel again!)
