Where do indeed to add sound deadening (and what type/brand) material to limit the noise transmitted to the body by the suspension? Is the entire body simply acting as a sounding board?

I used B-Quiet Karl. Put it on the front door panels, behind the kitchen cabinets, the side slider, the RR panel over the RR wheel and inside the rear hatch. I'll also add some to the firewall but since that's such a contoured and robust section of pressed steel I don't think there is much in the way of "ringing" coming from that area, as the larger flat body panels.

Noticeable difference in all driving conditions but the most obvious is when closing any of the doors/hatch/slider. There is such a firm "thud" sound rather than the tinny ring that used to happen. I also added some 3M type plastic bearing/roller stripping to the running surfaces of the bearigs for the side slider and that has made a very big difference in ease of operation but also quieted the slide down a lot. The combination of that and lining the inside of that panel with B-Quiet has made it sound like a different animal. It's got a definite thud or thunk sound now.
