Just got back from a 7-day 1056 mile camping excursion in my Westy. After a
summer of troubles (blowing out on the road, poor cooling, hard lighting) I
pulled my Dometic and thoroughly cleaned the grit-filled burner a month or
so back. Now I get dependable high-quality cold. Part of the reason is that
fall travel doesn't put the strain on the system that summer camping does,
but all in all I am now happier with the performance of the fridge than I
have been and cleaning the burner out did the trick.
