How to find us
"Look for the Westies" 

I've talked to the Marymoor Park people and we've been directed to use Parking Lot I (right off Marymoor Way by the Velodrome), see the park map at the following link http://your.kingcounty.gov/dnrp/library/parks-and-recreation/documents/marymoor/marymoor_park_map_web_09.pdf

(in case you don't know, parking costs $1 in the park) 

This is a different parking lot than last year, so please check the map. Parking lot I is by a big/flat paved Recreation/Event Area and also close to the velodrome, so bring also bikes/rollers/skates/etc to have some fun!


Why/What?
Brave the elements and come out to Marymoor Park for a Westy Show and Tell Meetup. This is the weekend just after Thanksgiving and just before the holiday madness begins, so may be your last chance for a while to talk about Westy projects and adventures. The idea for this one is to tell the group a little about your van and perhaps some of the best mods or projects that you have made. Consider bringing some comfort food (chiili, soup, etc) to help you stay warm while we meet.

Background
The people at the Washington State GTG thread in The Samba have been thinking for a while on doing a meetup.

Last year I organized a similar event at Marymoor Park, the attendance went through the roof (more than 50 vans showed up!). Everybody had a truly great time, and I've been itching to have a similar meetup again this year.

I don't think we'll reach last year's numbers (that was something crazy/unique) but hopefully we will still have a good representation.
