I'm confused. Does the driver high beam switch on and off as it should with the switch? If yes, then check the fuse box connections and wire to the right side. After you get both high beams working then move on to the low beams. Do you get power to the two fuses for the low beams? If not, why? If yes follow from the fuse box to the lights again. Bad connections and broken wires inside the insulation does happen.

Cunegonde has just one headlight mode again - the driver highbeam. All four marker lights and turnsignals work normally.

The dashboard rocker switch is new and correct for 1983 (I just replaced it today) The headlights and front turn signals have brand new spliced-in grounds behind the grille. (Last week) I gave up on the star grounds near the fuse panel. The upgraded halogen bulbs have been tested off the car to both work in both modes.

There is no power to the socket connectors except driver highbeam, whether car is running or not. Heater fans, defroster, and radio work normally, so not a generic X-Circuit problem - probably not the steering column key switch, either?

I'm stumped, and with early sunsets here in the PNW, I desperately need the headlights to work! Ideas?
