that's cool, I use The Right Stuff regularly, though I hadn't though tousing it only on the valve covers. I'll have to try that on a fairly fresh engine where I don't think I'll be adjusting on the hyd lifters at all. still though .. cork VCG's are dirt cheap and they work well enough. Hey ....it's been good enough for VW since about ....oh ....1948. I pay about .....whatever ....10 bucks for 20 of them. I don't find them getting hard and leaking for a long timethough, like a couple years at least. The Right Stuff though .. in the 'caulking gun' style .. that's like the 3rd Product I couldn't fix vans and cars withput ...or it's an upgrade/substitute for my No. 2 most important product ..good ole high quality black silicone ( like Toyota's ) . But use The Right Stuff .it's awesome. More or less 'Perfect.' my suggestions anyway. S.
