One thing you might want to consider - which I did - is get rid of all those stupid little phillips head sheet metal screws and install stainless sheet metal screws with a bolt head that is slotted. Life becomes very simple when working on the lights when all you need to do is pull out a nut-spinner (screwdriver with a permanent socket) of the right size and have at it. The screws are bad to rust and they give you fits with a phillips screwdriver. It's just a little thing that makes life easier. I didn't install them, so no sure if anything was cut or otherwise done that makes it a pain to go backwards. In a normal install is anything cut or thrown away that that I will need? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks, Dave > |
