The stuff I use is heavy .. like sticky-backed dense rubber. To optimize the benefit/weight and cost penalty ratio, = I cover perhaps 60 % of the inner door skin area. Gets me plenty of 'thunk' without excessive cost or weight. One thing to consider is if the material you are using can hold or absorb water. Not something you want happening. Scott www.turbovans.com
