couldn't see the picture, and some metal particles are very normal.. up to a dime in diameter. besides ...not many choices anyway ... keep the old gear oil in and run the trans into the ground.. put in new good gear oil and drive it nicely, or rebuild it. or put in a better used one. # 2is the most attractive option .. unless one can afford a nice rebuild, then # 3.
