Huh. I was mistaken that my van's firewall fuel line fitting was metal. It's not, it's plastic. The metal versions are around $40, pretty spendy for such a simple thing. I read that it can be replaced by simply passing the hose through the firewall, no fitting required. But I have Googled and searched the Webbernet and pored through a whole bunch of older posting in the archives and didn't find a simple "here's the parts you'll need" + how-to. Can someone point me in the right direction? -- Jack "Rocket j Squirrel" Elliott 1984 Westfalia, auto trans, Bend, Ore. |
