Interesting. The 'No PS no AC' that is a plus in my book. The engine I have no idea of what that might me like but seems like the WBX engine is not that great, either...on power and dependability...according to what I've been seeing in my time as a Vanagon interested person....A simple light basic no frills Vanagon has it's own appeal....but if it blows up frequently, like the older air cooled vans...I wouldn't want one...It might have better traction than a front radiator vanagon, too. I see quite a few of them driving around near Portland, Or. Don Hanson
