I just had an air cooled tranny cant remember year, installed in my 82 diesel westy, love my new rpm on the hwy due to faster ratios but need more power. Do both trannys have the pin that bolts onto the tranny which holds the shift linkage and the twin ball bushings to match? Im still new to vannys but I think the first few years were the same as the bus tranny. You may need to look into other forums for the finer details!

Velma 82diesel 1.6 na westy
