After the WetWesties Edge of the world camp https://picasaweb.google.com/wetwesties/RoadToTheEdgeOfTheWorld I bought one of the recreational/off road/trail atlases (for WA) to keep in the bus. My GPS knew where I was (& how to get home) & labeled it a 'local road' but when I wanted to see what was on the ridge across from us https://picasaweb.google.com/wetwesties/EdgeOfTheWorldRobSView I had to borrow the recreational atlas. That sold me!

A good paper map is a worthwhile thing when you need it and sits quietly waiting the rest of the time...
