> I second that on the silicone rubber Sil-Blades. I'm putting them on > everything I own. I'll third that--from this view: My Vanagon blades worked fine. I prolly bough Bosch. I had cheap winter blades on my Jeep Cherokee that lasted year after year after year. The windshield in pretty flat--that might be the key. But on my '88 Carrera, Bosch blades didn't work very well after just a few months. Nothing like even a year. They are little, wimpy 13" blades--and the windshield has some curvature. So I bought some little, wimpy (expensive) Silblades and they are still on the car after 5 or more years. So I bought big, manly 18" blades for my two Vanagons.... YMMV, Richard |
