I bought the 21" and 19" blades that GoWesty sells:  http://www.gowesty.com/ec_view_details.php?id=4354&category_id=&category_parent_id=

I believe they were Bosch.  Work fine.  Wonder why VW was so chintzy on the length?

There has been some variance on this thread regarding the length of the wiper blade.

Some have said 20" driver's, and 19" passenger's.

Others have said 19" driver's, 18" passenger's.

Is length relevant?

Are some brands better than others? I put a new set on early this year -- don't remember what brand, something mid-priced -- and they are useless now, just push the water around with no squeege action. I could do better with a butter knife.

The FLAPS seems to have about ten different brands in stock, and before I buy another set I'd like to know if anyone knows what brands are likely to be better. Something I can find in the US.
