Dave,
Are you looking for a dash light exactly, or would a general light in the
front cabin area do?
I put in a double-gooseneck LED light in my westy between the front seats.
It's bright enough that I can read a map if I aim both lamps that
direction. I can see into the glovebox aimed in that direction. I get a
little light into the pantry area, and a little into the fridge. It's very
handy, and, unlike a flashlight, always there. And the batteries never need
replacing. I'm sure there are better ones on the market than I could find
ten years ago, but if you don't run across anything that suits you, I will
look through my stuff to find the one I bought back then. It has a
satisfying WWII-era toggle switch with a nice thunk to it.
