... the subject line was tongue in cheek via The Samba. yes, that tiny core emits quite a bit of heat - 'enough to heat the entire Van' - and the blower motor does its job equally well. I was just wondering about a minor leak repair as I've not opened it up to find the exact source. thanks for confirming the o-ring as suspect. 10- 15 minutes labor ; about a buck and a half in parts = my kind of project !         =(; D)           mike

Nothing dreaded about it & it works great!  There is an o ring.
