oh beg your pardon.. kinda wiped out a bit .. p/s exhaust .. ( not PS ) it's not hard to undo a 3 screws in the pan for gosh sakes.. you can even leave it attached to the muffler if you want , just undo the 3 pan screws. I can't see what is so hard about that.

the stock exhaust is wonderful actually .. the only thing wrong with it is people and exhaust shops in particular are not smart enough to get the right rubber mounts and install them correctly. I have copied that exact system many times in a turbo application .. it works perfectly. it's over-engineered even . the first time I saw how the two rubber mounts on the left bracket are at the angles they are at.. I know somebody thought pretty hard about how to mount the exhaust on a DV.

they sure work fine for me - nuthin' wrong with the system at all .. except maybe people can't assemble things correctly .. or don't know where to get the little rubber mounts ..and those are easy to getlast time I checked.

but we need to hear from the poster ! there just is no substitute for getting 'hands on and dirty'... that's when things start getting fixed. No amount of emailing will actually fix the leaky pan.
