I've used vagcat.com many times. Really useful.

Caveat: I don't know how current their info is  i.e. for an '86,
neither 251265303C  "heat exchanger"  (aka heater core) or  251407097
"spacer sleeve" for the radius rod, are shown as NLA from VW.
