The Craftsman web page lists the warranty coverage for the various products. And, torque wrenches are covered for one year only, accordin' to the information therein. mcneely ---- J Stewart <fonman4277@COMCAST.NET> wrote: > Ummmm, not so fast there. The "free" replacement policy doesn't apply to ALL Craftsman tools. Years ago I broke a fairly expensive Craftsman torque wrench. Took it back to the store and was told "So sorry, torque wrenches aren't covered" Tried another store. And another. Six Sears stores in all, and caused a big scene in two of them, getting managers involved, still wouldn't replace it. I have no love for Sears, but I would hate to see them go under and all those jobs lost.
