my Van picked up road debris and the steel pipe [probably factory] in the wheel well had a pin hole. time factor fix was a length of appropriate diameter heater hose. a year later, the other pipe took a direct hit - puncture wound - same fix. the rubber hose doesn't cool as well as steel tubing but, 2 years after the first incident it's tolerated poor roads and off road expeditions ... h t h               =( :D)                  mike

Subject: Busted Coolant Pipe
 
Ran over something yesterday and apparently put a hole in a coolant pipe
under the van. Question - what is a good fix!!
