You can always do what us old hot rodders did back in the day when cars were made out of real steal. We just took a spray bottle and filled it with vinager, Yeah, that's right vinager. Expose all the rusty areas and just keep spraying the vinager on every morning before you take the wheels out. The more you spray it the more it helps. Keep spraying for about a month before you do your bodywork. Their's something in the vinager that stops rust. I'm not a chemist so I don't know why but it seamed to help. It was kind of like putting mothballs in your gas tank to increase the octain rating. Try it. Rust is hard to stop but it's worth a try. |
