Let me elaborate on Mark's explanation a bit more as I instigated this group buy.

The auxiliary tanks being made now is patterned after the design of the tanks we got back in 2001. They are designed by an engineer who works for the manufacturer of officially licensed Shelby Cobra replicas and other 'kit cars' such as the Grand Sport Corvette's.

As for the shipping arrangements, as Mark wrote, they are being transported in a space available basis in the same containers as the Cobra cars. The company in Irvine is only a car dealership and unrelated to the manufacture of the tanks. They do not have a financial interest in the tank sales. They are simply doing our friendly engineer in South Africa by shipping the tanks for him at little or no cost as I understand it. He in turn passed that savings on to us. There was some confusion because the engineer in did not realize that the tanks would be subject to customs brokers clearance fees. It was all eventually worked out. To the best of my knowledge, most of the tanks have been fetched or shipped. My tank & a couple of others were the last to arrive.

As for taking new orders, it is possible if there is enough interest. It may require direct shipping instead do as to avoid the patience challenges from this recent experience. Shipping cost will likely be much higher to deliver right to your door.
