mainly as long as one uses something half decent or better ..it will be fine. I would not use engine oil on a cable .. but just about any good spray lube will work.

it's like this .. THAT it Gets Done .., and done well and thoroughly .....that's where 92 % of the result comes from. 'What' you use is worth about 8 % of the Result .

in other words ...lube stuff ...try different brands. It's not like LPS say, is primo, and everything is is junk .. most all of them are great. Any hardware store or FLAPS.
