The speedo will very possibly work. Many and perhaps most 82 have the
later style speedo cable end and say 805, like the 85. The tach won't
work, since it is a gas engine tach. The dash 14 pin connector for the
cluster will need to have all the wires moved around before plugging in
the later cluster. At that time you can simply hook the 82 glow
indicator wire to the O2 led pin on the 85 cluster and then you get a
glow indicator, red and labeled OX. If you prefer you can install the
yellow led from the 82 cluster as well as the glow icon piece.
