You can charge them with a 2 Amp trickle charger.

Hi All,

So, in my never-ending upgrade spree of my vanagon I've come across a UPS with 8 of these batteries in series:

http://bit.ly/QtprbR

It seems like the batteries might be dead and I'm thinking about charging them to see if they will hold a charge. I'm not sure how to go about charging them.

Should I disconnect everything and charge one by one or can I charge in series?

Anyone have any experience with this?

They were hooked up to a UPS with a 240V 20A input so there's some electronics that reside before the 1st set of batteries. Can I just disconnect that and charge them with a 2A trickle charger?

I'm googling while I write this but I figured some of you might know.

TIA!
