What is that all about? My sister has a 2003 Jetta and my parents have a 2006. Both are TDI. Here in NJ we have no safety inspection and diesels have always been exempt from emissions inspection in the past. However after getting a ticket for failure to inspect my Dad took his car to the inspection station and they confirmed that it must be inspected. However they did nothing to inspect it. Just drove it through the inspection building from one end to the other and put a sticker on it. What a waste of time and effort! If they would just exempt these cars there would be no need for any of this foolishness. Why arent they exempt?
