Used the tire chain tensioner rubber for the water pump/alternator belt on my inline once for about 25 miles. Got me to the big city of Trona, California....right between Mojave and Barstow....parked till morning in the front of a junkyard/garage there and the next morning dug a used belt off a Rabbit that was out there in the pile....That got me to Mojave where there was a NAPA store...
