I had this problem a while back.  I found that the size of the bad sensor
was not the same as the replacement that I bought.  One of them was 23 mm
and the other was either 22 or 24, but I can't remember which.  You need a
deep socket.  I got mine at Lowes.
  Find some calipers or something to reach in there.
