23mm is a very queer size and one of those should never be needed. ( though 24mm is used here and there for sure . )

here's what I use .. a 1/2 inch drive 15/16th's socket ...which is nominally 24mm. You want one that's pretty thin to fit between pushrod tubes and OP sw.

Mine isn't deep , but I can still use a half inch extension or ratchet .. it doesn't plug in all the way to the detentball on the extension, but it gets the job done.
