Regarding those of you that having been using panty hose for belts, Victory Secret is having a sale........

Reading stories like this in the past in my aircooled days encouraged me to always keep spare belts for all my vehicles in the respective cars.

For those of you that drive standard transmissions it is a good idea before you lose clutch operation to learn how to drive your standard without using the clutch. It will save you if you're stuck out in the middle of nowhere.... I learned to take off from a dead stop in my VW bug by putting the stick and first and turning the starter and judiciously using the accelerator.....
