Painting plastic hubcaps can work ... sort of, and espcially if you use 'Fusion' spray can paint that is for plastic.

Their colors are not subtle ....they have a really really bright green ... how about bright green plastic ( I call the common 14 inch, 84 and later plastic hub cap 'Siver Dome' hubcaps. ) ...

People would figure the driver is like 19 years old with bright green hubcaps though. hey .. if you want a damaged Silver Dome hubcap to practicewith ..or even several .. I got 'em. Wouldn't want much for a damaged one or several.

how about this ...paint up 2 or 3 sets, and swap 'em out every week or so .. just to keep things interesting. Or run one color on one side of the van, another color on the opposite.

I don't think I quite havea set of crhome 'dog dish' hupcaps. I have a couple .. or you could could buy a set with a whole van attached to them.

or ....if you want to convert to 14inch mercedes alloy wheels that fit on vanagons with some medium easy mods.. I have a set of four of those too.

or ...go over to Fred Meyer or whatever discount store .. you can buy a whole set of fancy fake-chrome plastic full size wheel covers for 60 bucks for all 4.

I think you should paint each wheel a different color Jack .. she how the Mrs. likes that.

Trim rings might soften that a bit. But painting hubcaps?
