Yes, Gus and Smokey Yunick were two regulars that got me into wrench twisting as a kid. I picked a story from 1965 about a collapsed gas tank and loved the fix--pop the tank out with compressed air and drill a couple of 1/16th inch holes in the cap! It was a simpler time, but I actually did that on my '84 Westy when the charcoal canister plugged, and switched it with a new cap for emissions testing.
