Years ago I bought one made from copper pipe. Worked great, and you ought to be able to make one for about $50 if you can solder.

So I have become aware that the coupling where the hoses attached at the fire wall towards the back of the engine is made of unobtanium and there for finding a new one will be basically impossible....Now there are the very nice and blingy aluminum ones for $175 bucks, But before I bite that bullet I wanted to know if anyone had a fix?????

The bleeder housing and bleeder screw on mine are in place, what broke was the nipple below the screw...the one that connects to the metal pipe from the hot coolant hoses attached to the firewall.

from bens place the part Im talking about is #9

I have JB weld and some double sided cooper barbs and wondered if anyone has tried messing with that housing in a fashion that yeilded success and uber win!!

Anyone? I posted this in Samba so Im sorry if some of you are seing this twice

Thanks, Tony
