I don't get it.  I just switched to digest mode and can't see how it simplifies anything.  The messages aren't in order.  There are no hyper links from the summary and you can't reply to a particular message if you want to.  I was expecting it to be something like the vanagon.com listing with a summary with hyper links and drill down.  Is there another format that is better?  If not, I'm inclined to just save a bookmark to the archives listing and view from there or go back to individual messages.

Please note - During the past 17 years of operation, several gigabytes of Vanagon mail messages have been archived. Searching the entire collection will take up to five minutes to complete. Please be patient!
