So, Patti (We do remember Patti, right?),
Do you understand how to get to the bulb? When you get it out, it would
be wise to check it with an ohmmeter. It is very possible that a corroded
connection at the socket has stopped it from working.
Assuming it is bad, you need only buy the lowest price 9004 bulb if you
wish. For extra money you can buy bulbs that cost a little more, give a
little more light and burn out a little sooner. If it's the smaller square
high beam only that's dead, the bulb is different but I don't remember the
number.
