I've been using this stuff since I was an F-15 jet engine mechanic in the AF, 25 years ago. The tube I got then has just now run out, and I've bought another one to carry me for the next 25 years or so..... I use it on everything I've rebuilt for that long. O-rings, rubber seals, hell, I even smear it all over paper or cardboard gaskets to improve 'stick-tion' during assembly, assist with sealing over a dry-fitted gasket and to ease disassembly when it's time. Great stuff. Highly recommend it after rebuilding over 100 VW engines of every type. Mike B. > Me? I use Dow Corning 33.
