I used some of the Westie curtain track that I didn't use for my curtains. I suppose you could easily use Yakima's designated rain gutter attachments....I did use some of that to put this rack onto a Wells Fargo utility trailer....

I do, as a 'belt AND suspenders' thing, put an additional bungee cord across my top tube on the bikes, just in case the fork clamp should ever come loose...which it never has. You can keep an eye on how things are riding using the mirror, too.
