Hi Jack.. one method .. look at the tires. the fronts will wear slighlty 'roundy' compared to the rears .. the rears where less, and pretty evenly across the whole tread face.. the fronts wear more on the outer edges.

you can spot any poorly serived carin an instant by the brake pad dust on the front wheels, the very worn front tires, and the barely worn rear tires.

You don't keep a little log book ? .. like I do for fuel ..'where, miles, how much, and what I spent, and mpg sometimes too;'

then I have a section for service and maint., items ..date and miles. its' fun. Keeps the value of your van up too. ...good records always raise the value of any used vehicle.
