so nice to read your good words !
Yeah ...just wanting to help people do really good work , and get great
results, and on into the distant future even, on their vans.
Yes...that exact Toyota Sealant is 'the one' . I'm surprised they say
that long a cure time though.
I probably give it say .....2to 4 hours .
( toyota also has a red sealant for ATF oil pans , btw )
Iuse the black for coolant and oil sealing.
'the other one' I like a lot is The Right Stuff ...from any good FLAPS.
get it in the caulking gun style, not the aerosol.
This stuff is very good about not clogging up at the nozzle ..I just
stick a nail in the nozzle after use ..
and I can use that tube again weeks or months later , no problem.
they claim it will cure in one hourI think. I give it longer than that
though.
oh ..another sealant I like lately ..
Permatex High Temp Copper sealant.
That stuff is working real well on oil pans ...havn't tried it on a
water pump.
