Patti, I am very glad you will soon have your headlight fixed.


And I am very sorry to have confused matters with my faulty memory.  I do remember replacing the entire headlamp, and I did get the thing from Autozone without paying an arm and a leg, but clearly it must not have been a sealed beam as I thought I remembered.  BTW, looking at Autozone online now, they seem to offer only the bulbs, so I would not be able to go to that source to do what I did before.  I could only replace the bulb from there now.  I hope this ends the lengthy series of comments on the matter.
