mornin, Scott ; a week or so ago Ken Wilford was on such a mission. I recommended [with warning] a guy over at the Samba classified. you might also try Rudi Schaffner. I got a fantastic deal on a distrib from him and a Left Coast member mentioned a warehouse parts collection ! some DeOxIt, a few wire strands, maybe a pair of tweezers, a couple of drops of cyanoacrylate and a lot of patience could restore what you have as a back up.    h t h              mike

Hi All ..
not liking what's on evilbay ..though there is one listed, but not
truly  correctly I don't think.

SO ...we need ...either a good Circuit Foil for an 85 Vanagon with tach
..( 84 Wolfsburg with tach is fine too )
or a complete instrument cluster,
and I think I can make an 86 to 91 Circuit Foil work in the 85
Subaru-Westy.

I'd be interested in just a bare instruent cluster Housing too ..
as long as it's got the digital clock., which is always there if there's
a tach. So 84 to 91 ..as long as it has a digital clock.

any help appreciated .
Who is restoring worn out Circuit Foils anyway ?
