The last sentence is certainly true.

Sometimes I find that conditions are such that I don't want to ventilate the cabin, and I don't want heat on.  Those in between times do occur.  No need to warm things up, but the outside air is cooler than I want to blow on my feet.  Thankfully, I haven't had a need to get into the heater box, since the flaps seem to close adequately.  Fingers crossed.  mcneely
